Sony Mobiles has announced Xperia M5, Company latest waterproof phone and the Xperia C5 Selfie focused Android phone. Sony has not revealed the pricing of this handsets but will roll out in selected countries starting from mid-August. Both the devices will be available in single as well as dual SIM variant depending on the market.
The Xperia M5, Sony latest smartphone in the M series comes with a 5-inch 1080p display, a 21.5MP rear camera with 0.25 Hybrid Autofocus, LED Flash, 4K video recording, 5x Clear Image Zoom and a 13MP Selfie camera. It is powered by a 2.2GHz MediaTek Helio X10 Octa-Core 64-bit processor with PowerVR G6200 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It has IP65/68 feature for Water and Dust protection respectively.
The Sony Xperia M5 includes 16GB internal storage which can be expandable up to 200GB via microSD card and has connectivity options like 4G LTE/ 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. On the back there is a 2600mAh battery with STAMINA mode.
On the other hand, the Xperia C5 includes a 6-inch 1080p display, is powered by Octa-Core MediaTek processor, has 2GB of RAM and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. It has 16GB of inbuilt memory with a space for microSD card for memory expansion up to 200GB. It comes with 13MP rear and front facing cameras and has 2930mAh battery capacity.
The Xperia M5 will be offered in Gold, White and Black colors while Xperia C5 Ultra comes in black, white and glossy soft mint colors.
