Sony company begins rolling out Android 4.4 KitKat update for its Smartphone’s namely- Xperia E1 and Xperia E1 Dual. These Smartphone’s were launched running with Android 4.4 KitKat OS out of the box.
The update announcement has been made by the Sony on its official blog along with the complete changelog list that the update brings to the Xperia E1 and Xperia E1 Dual Smartphone’s. In the update, Sony included tweaked Status Bar as well as Quick Settings, apart from a new PlayStation 4 inspired UI with a sleeker launch animation across lock screens.
The option to move apps from internal memory to SD card has been included in the KitKat update for Xperia E1 and Xperia E1 Dual Smartphone. Before this, Sony Xperia T2 Ultra has been updated with the same features of moving the apps. So with these new features, the users can easily move their favourite Apps.
According to Sony, the native app portfolio which includes Messaging, Smart Connect, TrackID, Sony Select, Battery Stamina Mode, Walkman and more will be updated to latest versions. The users also get access to Xperia themes after the update. Sony also stated that, Sony Xperia M2 and Xperia M2 Dual are the next Smartphone’s to get the Android 4.4 KitKat update.
