Huawei today launched its latest mid-range Android phone, the Honor Play 5X in China starting for 999 Yuan. The device packs with all the specifications that are found on high-end smartphones. The unibody metal build and a fingerprint sensor are the highlights of the handset.
In this post, we will be comparing the Huawei Honor Play 5X with the Nexus 6P which was announced last month along with LG Nexus 5P.
Huawei Nexus 6P VS Honor Play 5X- Comparison Overview
Display and Software:
The Nexus 6P has a massive 5.7-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with 1440 x 2560 pixels screen resolutions and runs on Google latest OS Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
On the other hand, the Honor Play 5X sports a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolutions and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. Both the smartphones includes fingerprint sensor for better security.

The Nexus 6P includes quad-core 1.55 GHz Cortex-A53 and quad-core 2.0 GHz Coretx-A57 Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The latest mid-ranger Honor Play 5X is powered with 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB/3GB of RAM.
The Nexus 6P has 12MP of rear camera and 8MP of front camera while the Honor Play 5X features 13MP of rear camera and 5MP of Selfie camera.
Storage and Battery:
The Huawei Nexus 6P comes in 32GB/64GB/128GB versions without any memory card slot while the Honor Play 5X has 16GB of inbuilt memory with microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 128GB.
A 3450mAh battery is included in Nexus 6P while the Honor Play 5X is powered with 3000mAh battery.

The Nexus 6P is already available to purchase starting at $499 while the Honor Play 5X will be available to purchase from November 3rd starting at $157.
