Huawei announced the Mate 8 Android phablet for China back in November 2015, and today at the ongoing CES 2016, the company has announced for the international market. It is company flagship smartphone which surely includes high end specs. Huawei also launched Huawei GX8, its 5.5-inch Android smartphone for the US market for $350 along with the Huawei Mate 8.
Huawei Mate 8 Full Specifications
Coming to the specs, the device sports a 6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with 2.7mm ultra narrow frame, 83% screen-to-body ratio and 2.5D glass. The hardware of the phablet incudes Octa-Core HiSilicon Kirin 950 SoC with IntelliSense i5 sensor hub, 3GB / 4GB RAM and 32GB / 64GB of internal storage which can be expandable using a microSD card.
The Huawei Mate 8 features a 16-megapxiels rear camera with Sony IMX298 sensor, PDAF, OIS, f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash. There is 8-megapixels front facing camera for video recording and Selfie purposes.
It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and has circular fingerprint sensor on the back for better identification. The device includes all the standard connectivity features with 4G LTE on top. It has hybrid dual SIM support and powered with 4000mAh battery.

The Huawei Mate 8 has various colors options like Champage Gold, Moonlight Silver, Space Gray, and Mocha Brown. It is priced at 599 Euros (US$ 643 / Rs. 42770 approx.) for 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant and 699 Euros (US$ 750 / Rs. 49900 approx.) for the 4GB + 64GB storage variant. The phablet will be available to purchase across various countries including: Germany, Spain, France, Mexico, Australia, and United Arab Emirates.
