Sony Mobile has confirm that Xperia Z, Xperia Z1 series and Xperia Z Ultra are the net devices which gets Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update in the following weeks. Sony Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact are the devices which recently updated to Android 5.1.1 via OTA.
Soon after releasing the latest Lollipop update to its newest devices, Sony has announced the timeline for the next Xperia device being updated to Android 5.1.1. Xperia Z1, Z1 Compact and Xperia Z Ultra will get Android 5.1.1 OTA update in the following weeks, thereafter Sony pushes the update to its remaining Xperia handsets.
The Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update gives entire new look to your Xperia handset adding tons of new features and improvements.
