Lava mobiles has officially launched Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Lava Pixel V1 Android One smartphone. Being an Android One device, Lava Pixel V1 was receiving monthly minor updates to fix the security patches. Now the device has become the first Lava smartphone to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
To remind you, the Pixel V1 comes with a 5.5-inch HD display, 1.3GHz quad core processor, 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device sports 13-megapixels rear camera and 8-megapixels front camera with optimized apertures and 1.4 um sized pixels for high clarity photos.

As the update is rolled out via OTA (over-the-air), you will see an update notification in the notification bar of your device. Select to start downloading the ROM.
Users can also manually check for updates from Menu > Settings > About Phone > System update > Select Download > Wait for the package to download. Once done tap on Restart and Install option. Now the device will start installing the package and restart.
