YU, which is the sister company of Micromax smartphone vendor has officially launched “YU YUNIQUE”, its latest Android smartphone priced under Rs. 5,000. YU Yuphoria which is YU Android phone under 7K price tag already got a huge demand in the Indian smartphone market. Now the local vendor has come with budget smartphone, which is the best choice for the users migrating from featured phones to Android devices. Like all the other YU devices, it doesn’t run on Cyanogen OS out of the box but users have the option to install the Cyanogen OS 12.1 based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop by reaching to the nearest service centre.
YU YUNIQUE
Like Xiaomi Redmi 1S and Redmi 2, it also sports a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs on stock Android 5.1 Lollipop OS which can be upgradable to Cyanogen OS 12.1 Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS by heading to the nearest YU service centre. It measures dimensions of 134.5 x 67.5 x 8.3mm and weighs just 128 grams.
