Xiaomi Redmi Note 3G is getting stable MIUI 6 OTA update across the world. Earlier the giant Chinese smartphone manufacturing company rolled out the MIUI 6 update for Redmi 1S users and now the company seeding the update to all Redmi Note 3G users. The latest update will roll out via OTA (over-the-air) and is about 694MB in size. The firmware update brings the build V6.6.1.0.KHDMICF based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS.
The Redmi Note 3G was launched in India back in July 2014 running on MIUI 5 based on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. Now Xiaomi most of the devices runs on MIUI 6 based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. In addition, company is all planning to unveil the last MIUI 7 based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop on August 16 in a special event. The Mi 4, company latest flagship will be running on MIUI 7 out-of-the box.

How to Manually update Xiaomi Redmi Note 3G to MIUI 6 V6.6.1.0.KHDMICF Android 4.4.4 OTA update:
All the Redmi Note 3G users will get a notification pops-up on their screen. Just tap on it or you can manually check for update by launching the Updater app > Check for updates. The app will automatically checks for latest update. It will show “new updates available”, just tap on it to download and install on your device. Make sure to use high-speed internet while downloading the firmware as it is about 694MB in size.
