Xiaomi, the Chinese company after launching Redmi 1S in India announced that 40,000 units of the new Smartphone will be available to purchase from Flipkart as its first flash sale on September 2. Regarding the launch of new budget smartphone, the Xiaomi Redmi 1S Flipkart already suspended the sales of Xiaomi Mi3 Smartphone.
There are no details regarding the next flash sales of the Xiaomi Mi3, but as of now the company will only focusing on the Redmi 1S and then later, on the Redmi Note. It is expected that Xiaomi will being the Mi4 in India by December. Xiaomi confirmed the 40,000 flash sale of Xiaomi Redmi 1S for 2nd September on their Facebook page.
The registration for purchasing the Smartphone will go on till September 1 midnight. The company revealed that already over 100,000 people registered for the Smartphone’s first Flash sale. The Compnay launched the device on Tuesday for Rs. 6,999 and registrations began from 6pm IST on the same day.
Running on Android 4.3 KitKat OS, the Xiaomi Redmi 1S sports a 4.7-inch IPS LCD display with AGC Gragontrail Glass protection including pixel density of 312ppi. It comes with Dual SIM support with dual standby and is powered with 1.6GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC (MSM8228).

The Xiaomi Redmi 1S has 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory and expandable secondary storage up to 32GB with microSD card. Coming to camera front, it packs with 8 MP autofocus rear camera with Flash and a secondary 1.6MP front facing camera. There is 2000 mAh battery on the back to power the device.
Xiaomi, the Chinese Smartphone manufacturers has got much success on the sale of Mi3 mobiles in India. The company sold as many of 20,000 units in around 3 seconds and there were many such several sales. So it is expected that the sale of Xiaomi Redmi 1S will be similar to that of Mi3 Smartphone.
