On November 24th, Xiaomi has organised an event in Beijing, China to announce its latest devices. Earlier they were rumours that Xiaomi will be unveiling its latest flagship smartphone, the Mi 5 at the special event. But the rumours might go wrong as Xiaomi is planning to announce Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro and Mi Pad 2 at the coming Tuesday event.
Xiaomi already teased the Redmi Note 2 Pro stating that it is the first company smartphone with full metal body and a fingerprint sensor. The device is the successor of Redmi Note 2 and thus carries most of the similar specifications and features.
Today, Lin Bin, co-founder and President of Xiaomi posted an image of sleek looking Mi Pad 2 on weibo. The tablet was first appeared on Geekbench last week, revealing that it will be powered by the Intel X5-Z8500 SoC with a quad-core 2.24GHz CPU. The first generation Xiaomi Mi Pad was powered with a NVIDIA Tegra K1 chipset along with q quad core 2.2GHz CPU.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 rumoured to sport a 7.9-inch display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and runs on MIUI 7 on top of Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS.
