Next Generation YotaPhone with Dual Display, 4G LTE and 2GB RAM unveiled at MWC 2014 – Check Specs, Features, Price and availability
Yota devices launched the YotaPhone back in December 2013, and today it launched Next generation YotaPhone at MWC 2014 in Barcelona, Spain. The new Next generation YotaPhone has a full touch control on its always-on electronic paper display (EPD). In this Smartphone users can open and respond to notifications with just one touch, without activating the color display.
The new YotaPhone features a 5-Inch AMOLED multi-touch main display with 1920 x 1080 pixels display and 4.7-Inch EPD full touch rear screen display with 960 x 540 pixels resolution. It is powered by 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 2GB RAM. The Smartphone runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and has 32GB Internal memory. It also has wireless charging, advanced anti-theft protection and high performance integrated hands-free audio. The company has also unveiled the YotaPhone SDK to third-party developers.
Next generation YotaPhone sports an 8MP rear camera with auto-focus, LED Flash, 1080p full HD video recording and a 2MP front-facing camera. In terms of connectivity the Smartphone has 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS/GLONASS. The next generation YotaPhone packs a 2,550 mAh battery with wireless charging and comes in Black and white.
