If you are owner of Samsung Galaxy S5 and a Verizon customer, here we brought good news for your device. Android 4.4.4 update is on the way to your Android Smartphone. The update is via OTA (over-the-air), which is 346MB in size. Samsung has not shared the update changelog, but from other customers who have updated their device to latest OS says that issue with Bluetooth audio has been fixed. So with this update there will be no loss of audio when using certain Bluetooth headsets anymore. No further details regarding changelogs are available. We will update once the official changelog is available.
Neither Verizon nor Samsung have documented the Android 4.4.4 update on their support sites which is very unusual. This may be test build which have send early accidently. If you are getting the update notification on your Verizon Galaxy S5, then update it by just clicking on “install now”. If you have not received the notification, just go to XDA Developer forums thread and find the download link for your Verizon Galaxy S5.
Here below is the screenshot of update text from Verizon and Samsung. There is nothing else apart from Bluetooth audio bug fixed in the update.
