If this disappoints you then don’t worry, we have brought a way to update Xperia J ST26i/ST26a to Android 4.4.2 Kitkat firmware, and it is done with the help of Custom ROM. The ROM which we are going to use for our needs is CM 11 ROM.
CM 11 for Xperia J is based on Stock Android 4.4.2 Kitkat and is smoother and faster. Besides this it contains no bloat ware and is battery friendly and also provides freer RAM for the smoother performance of the device. It also packs some of the security enhancements.
