Download Odin Software and Download and extract the firmware package from here to your PC. [Link] [Mirror] Open Odin in PC as administrator. Power off Galaxy Star Duos GT-S5282.
Enter into Download Mode by pressing and holding Volume Down + Home + Power Button simultaneously until you see some warning text on screen. Now press Volume Up to enter into Download Mode.Connect your device to PC using original data cable.
Now in Odin under ID:COM colour changes to blue, and an “Added” message will appear in Odin, indicating that your device is successfully connected to PC.
Now in Odin, click on PDA or AP and load the firmware with .tar or .md5 extension, in the similar way click on Modem and load the file with .modem extension, and click on CSC and load file with .CSC extension. In the same manner select all the files in Odin.
