How to Install CWM/TWRP Custom Recovery & Root Motorola Moto E 3G (2015):

Step 1: Connect your device with PC/Laptop with USB cable.

Step 2: Download SuperSU (latest version) and placed it to the root folder of device SD card.

Step 3: Download and install the Minimal ADB and fastboot Tools on your PC.

Step 4: Also download TWRP Custom Recovery on your PC and move the file to the Minimal ADB and Fastboot folder i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot.

Step 5: Open py_cmd.exe from the Minimal ADB and Fastboot folder and give the below command:

adb devices

The above command gives the info about the connected devices with PC.

Step 6: Enter another command:

Adb reboot bootloader

This command will boot the device into adb mode.

Step 7: Now, give the last command

Fastboot flash recovery twrp-otus-2.8.6-test4.img

Step 8: Now this will flash TWRP Custom Recovery on your Moto E 2015 smartphone.

Step 9: Now from the ADB Mode, select Recovery by using Volume down for scrolling and Volume Up to select.

Step 10: After booting your device into TWRP Recovery, Tap on Install and select the SuperSU package which was copied to device SD card in step 2.

Step 11: Now, reboot your device from the TWRP Recovery. Next open App Drawer and locate for SuperSU app. If available then you’re Moto E 3G 2015 (2^nd Gen) smartphone has been successfully rooted.
