Chinese smartphones always lack behind in the case of development, but UMi China-based smartphone vendor wanted to change the things around for the UMi Touch smartphone by providing custom ROMs and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
To remind you, UMi Touch is the latest 5.5-inch phablet with massive 4000mAh battery priced at just $179.99. Due to its high-end specs at an affordable price tag, UMi has a lot of hope from the handset to do well in terms of sales number. UMi Touch is also world’s first user defined smartphone and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box for better user experience.
With Android 6.0 OS, it brings all those new features starting from better permissions controls to a polished UI.
Though UMi Touch will be running on Stock Marshmallow 6.0 OS, a variety of other UI based custom ROMs will also be made available for the smartphone too. According to UMi, it will provide custom ROM based on Flyme UI, VIBE UI, MyUI, 360OS and WP8 (might be Android based ROM with Windows phone UI).
