Android 4.4.4 is the latest update release of Google’s mobile operating system. After rolling out Android 4.4.4 update to Samsung Smartphone’s sold by US carriers- the Sprint’s Galaxy Note 3 and Verizon Galaxy S5 devices, its time for T-Mobiles Galaxy S4 to get the latest update.
The T-mobile Samsung Galaxy S4 update is via OTA (over-the-air), but it can also be upgraded via Samsung kies, Samsung desktop PC software.
The update has 400MB in size and it’s advisable to update if your battery level on the handset is more than 50%. Also Galaxy S4 device will not be updated if your device is rooted. So before applying the update, make sure that the device doesn’t have root access. Update the device via high speed internet connectivity only (WiFi, 3G, and 4G).
After updating the T-mobile Samsung Galaxy S4, you will be on build number M919UVUFNH7. Apart from changing the OS to Android 4.4.4, the update brings support of T-Mobile Free Inflight Texting.
