Most of the network carrier limit their data plans to certain amount for particular amount paid, to reduce the excessive usage.
In this tutorial we will show you some of the steps which you can apply to reduce the deduction of data, while the internet usage is same. This methods reduces your data consumption by compressing the website pages, images and other stuff and overall they reduce the size of the page you want to browse and save you some data. Here we have come up with two popular browsers that does this job perfectly and they are Google Chrome and Opera browser for Android.
Let’s first start with chrome and see how to enable reduce data usage option in it.
How to save mobile data using Chrome Browser:
- Download and install Chrome browser on your device from Play Store.
- Open the browser from app drawer.
- Tap on three dots at the top right corner or press the menu button.
- Tap on Settings.
- Now tap on Reduce data usage and enable this option.
That’s all you have to do, now when you browse internet on your device using Chrome, it will do its job of compressing the pages, images etc. and reduces the data usage.
How to save mobile data using Opera browser for Android:
- Download and install the Opera browser for Android from Play Store.
- Open it from app drawer.
- Tap on Opera icon at the bottom right and enable Off-Road mode.
- Now browse website without thinking about your mobile data.
