Samsung today announced Galaxy J3 SM-J3109Z, its latest budget Android smartphone in the ‘Galaxy J’ series. Earlier this month, the device received TENAA and 3C certification and now the device is officially listed on the company’s China website.

The device includes a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. There is 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage which has an option to be extended using a microSD card.
The Galaxy J3 sports an 8-megapixels auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and is accompanied with a 5-megapixels front facing camera. It runs on Android 5.1 OS and packs with a 2600mAh battery.
The handset measures 142.3 x 71 x 7.9mm and weighs 138g. It has 4G LTE connectivity options which supports various China FDD LTE bands like B1, B3, B7, and TDD LTE band B41. As of now only single SIM variant is available, but Samsung might launch dual SIM variant depending upon the type of market.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 comes in different colors variants like White, Black and Golden colors. No details regarding the price tag and availability has been enclosed by the company.
