Samsung Galaxy J3 (SM-J3109), the successor of Galaxy J2 has passed through the FCC certifications. The latest mid-range device was earlier spotted on GFXBench, just a week ago. In addition, the company also forwarded the device to India last week for testing purposes. The device was being tested under different network connectivity like 2G, 3G and 4G. As the Galaxy J3 got the FCC certifications approval, Samsung will soon makes the device official.
According to the source, the Samsung Galaxy J3 with model number SM-J3109 features a 64-bit quad core Snapdragon 410 SoC, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of inbuilt memory. Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS, 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera adds the other features of Samsung latest budget smartphone.
Samsung announced Galaxy J2 in India back in September 2015 for INR 8,490 ($130). The pricing of Galaxy J3 might be set quite similar to that of Galaxy J2.
