Samsung has launched the Galaxy J2, its latest 4G LTE smartphone in India in the budget price segment. According to the reports, the company has already launched 17 4G enabled handsets in the Indian smartphone market, of which the Galaxy Grand Prime 4G was launched last month for just Rs. 11,000. The Samsung Galaxy J2 is the successor of last year Galaxy J1 SM-J100H, which already has good number of sales in the Indian market.

On the specifications point of view, the Galaxy J2 includes 1GB of RAM and is powered by a quad-core processor clocking at 1.3GHz. The handset is equipped with a 4.5-inch WVGA display, sports a 5MP rear camera, a 2MP camera on the front, and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.
The Galaxy J2 supports dual SIM and packs with a 2000mAh battery life on the back. New data ultra-saving mode has been included in the smartphone which helps in compressing videos, photos, media, most apps and websites, thereby reducing the data usage up to 50%.

The Samsung Galaxy J2 SM-J200H is priced at Rs. 8490 and will be available starting from September 21st across online and offline (Flipkart, Amazon) retailer stores.
