Samsung is currently working on Galaxy J1 Ace SM-J110, the successor of Galaxy J1 which was launched beginning of this year. The Galaxy J1 is a low-end smartphone with 4.3-inch display (480 x 800p), a Spreadtrum Dual Core processor with 512MB of RAM and a 5-megapixles rear facing camera. The device was unveiled running on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with Samsung TouchWiz UI on top. Soon after the release of Galaxy J1, there are many rumours and leaks considering the new and enhanced smartphone, the Galaxy J1 Pop.
But according to the latest rumour, the Galaxy J1 Pop will actually called as Galaxy J Ace. Ace is the popular name earlier Samsung used for many low and middle level devices. The updated version of J1 brings RAM of about 1GB and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
The rumour has come from Dutch online retailer, Nieuwemobiel, who has listed the device for sale pricing just €115. It is slighter more priced when compared to Galaxy J1. According to him, the smartphone will go on sale starting from July 30. More details only emerged after the official announcement of the handset.
