Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 with 5.25 inch HD display now officially available to buy – News, Specs
Samsung India, the company who announced the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 and which was available for pre-order at Samsung’s official website in December last year, has finally released the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2. The Smartphone is now available to buy at manufacturer’s e-store for Rs. 22,999, and will hit the retail market from Monday January 20.
Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 features a 5.25 inch Capacitive HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The processor under the hood is 1.2 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB internal memory, which is expandable up to 64 GB via micro SD card. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS which runs pretty smoothly on this device because of 1GB RAM and processor associated with it.
Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 sports 8MP rear camera with auto focus and LED flash. It is also packed with a 1.9MP front facing camera for video calling. The Smartphone offers connectivity features like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS and is powered by 2,600 mAh battery.
Samsung is also planning to launch an affordable version of this Smartphone called as Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo, which is likely to be announced at MWC 2014. Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 is slim and comes with a soft-textured faux leather back cover.
