Samsung started rolling out Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update to its mid-ranger Galaxy E5 in India and Russia. So, whoever own a Galaxy E5 will see an update notification pops-up on their screen. The update is about 744MB in size and brings the build number E500HXXU1BOG6. This is one of the major update being pushed to Galaxy E5 Android smartphone.
We can’t see new Galaxy S6 TouchWiz to the device after the update as Samsung has kept it limited for devices launching 2015 and beyond. But the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update will bring improved battery life, colourful user interface, boost in performance and better lockscreen notifications.
For users who can’t wait for the OTA update have the option to flash manually by downloading the Android 5.1.1 firmware package from here.
