The week started off with great news to the Galaxy Alpha that Samsung started pushing Android 5.0 Lollipop update. Samsung Galaxy Alpha SM-G850 is the first meta-clad Android Smartphone. The three major carriers in South Korea already started giving Android 5.0 Lollipop treatment to the device. The update is being available as an OTA (over-the-air) and the users can also download from Samsung Kies as well.
Earlier Samsung rolled out Android 5.0 Lollipop update to Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4 and here is Galaxy Alpha to joins the list. Along with the Android Lollipop v5.0.2 version, the update also brings the much talked Material Design UI. Better performance, improved battery life and more notifications settings are the major changelogs of the Lollipop update.
