After launching the Moto G (3rd Generation) in India, Motorola has officially announced the Moto X Play and Moto X Style in the Moto X series. These new handset were unveiled in a three different event simultaneously held in New York, Sao Paolo and London. Motorola will start selling the Moto X Play starting from August and the Moto X Style will be available to grab from September this year. According to the reports, the Moto X Play will be priced at £299 (approx. Rs. 30,000) and the Moto X Style will be priced at £359 (approx. Rs. 36,000).
The Moto X Play features a 5.5-inch FHD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and pixel density of 400 ppi. The handset comes with Qualcomm Snapdagon 615 SoC featuring a 1.7GHz Octa-Core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The Moto X Style features a 5.7-inch TFT LCD display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by 1.8GHz Hexa-Core Snapdragon 808 processor with Adreno 418 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
Both the devices runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out of the box, sports a 21-megapixels front facing camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and there is 5-megapixels front facing camera. The connectivity options included with the latest Motorola handsets are 4G/LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
The Moto X Play measures 148 x 75 x 8.9-10.9mm, weighs 169 grams and packs with 3630mAh battery. The Moto X Style measures 153.9 x 76.2 x 6.1-11.06mm (curve), weighs 179g and is powered by 3000mAh battery. The Moto X Play comes in 16GB/32GB storage variants while the Moto X Style comes in 16GB/32GB/64GB variants. Both the smartphones can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
Both the handset comes in Black and White colors options. The smartphones comes with Moto Voice, Moto Display, Moto Assist and Moto Actions.
