Micromax, Indian Smartphone Manufacturers has started rolling out Android 4.4 KitKat update for Canvas 2 Colours A120 mobile phone. Recently Micromax rolled out Android 4.4 KitKat update for Canvas Knight A350 and Canvas Doodle 3 A102 Smartphone’s. The Canvas 2 Colours A120 was launched in the early April 2014. The device was running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and as per the promise made by the Micromax to provide KitKat update, the company started rolling out Android 4.4 update.
All the budget and high priced Micromax devices are now coming with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. Micromax Unite 2 A106, Canvas Fire A093, Canvas Engage A091 are few budget Smartphone’s running on Android KitKat OS.
The Android KitKat update should bring emojis, printing support, performance tweaks and some UI changes. There will be also change in the contacts directory of the Smartphone.
The size of the Android 4.4 update is 283.2MB and is over-the-air (OTA). If you’re the owner of Canvas 2 Colours, you will be getting notification update.
Micromax have not listed the leading devices which will be getting Android 4.4 update, but says that they are on the project of updating major of the devices. Hope there are many other Micromax devices which will be getting Android 4.4 KitKat update.
