After the great success of Meizu M1 Note and M2 Note Android smartphones in India, the company has launched MX5, its 2015 flagship smartphone in India. The smartphone will be exclusively available on Snapdeal.com starting from today. In order to provide better service facility in India, the Meizu is opening 40 new customer service centres across various cities in India. The device was first unveiled in China in June this year.

Coming to specifications, it offers a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and runs on Flyme OS 4.5 on top of Android 5.0 Lollipop. The phone has dual SIM functionality with 4G-LTE support and other connectivity options includes Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n.
The Meizu MX5 sports a 20.7MP rear camera with dual tone LED Flash, Laser Auto focus, Sony IMX220 Exmor RS BSI sensor, 6P lenses f/2.0 aperture and 4K video recording. On the front, there is a 5MP camera with f/2.0 aperture for video calling and selfie clicks.
The other features includes 3GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB/64GB of storage options, 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor and 3150mAh battery. The device measures dimensions of 149.9 x 74.7 x 7.6mm and weighs 149 grams.
