LG has silently introduced a new smartphone in the K series dubbed as “LG K8”. It is launched in Hungary and few other global market. Earlier LG launched K10, K7, and K4 smartphones in the K series. The company is expected to showcase LG K8 at the upcoming MWC 2016 event next week along with flagship G5, new X cam, X screen, and the Stylus 2.
LG K8 full phone specifications:
LG K8 comes with a 5-inch HD In-cell Touch IPS display with 2.5D glass and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out-of-the-box. On the hardware front, it includes 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 1.5GB RAM. There is 8GB of on-board memory which can be expandable with microSD card.
It sports an 8-megapixels rear camera with LED flash and is accompanied with 5-megapixels front facing camera. The connectivity options available within the handset are 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and NFC.
It measures 144.6 x 71.5 x 8.7mm; weighs 156g and packs with 2125mAh battery on the back.
Price and Availability:
The LG K8 comes in two different color versions- Blue and White. Company has not revealed anything regarding the price of the smartphone.
