LG announced in New Delhi today that its most anticipated curved display Smartphone, the LG G Flex will be available in INDIA next year in the month of February. However its actual price in not revealed yet, tough Amit Gujral, general manager of LG Electronics said that the Smartphone can be expected to price around INR 60k.
LG G Flex comes with 6 inch curved display. LG has used a curved OLED panel, which is also built on plastic substrates instead of glass for better durability for its display. The Smartphone is powered by 2.26 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 330 GPU for smooth performance of the mobile and better gaming experience.
LG G Flex runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS with 2 GB DDR3 RAM and 32 GB storage. It is packed with a 13MP rear camera with auto focus and LED flash and 2.1MP front facing camera for video calling. It supports connectivity features like 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with a-GPS and GLONASS, DLNA. The Smartphone supports sensors like accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass.
Smartphone weighing 177 grams and 7.9 mm thinner with 8.7mm thickness is powered by 3,500 mAh battery. According to LG the curved battery in the G Flex is designed with a technology, that it reduces the physical stress on the battery when it is in curved form and provides better stability and performance.
LG has also included a new “Self-healing” coating on back cover i.e., an elastic coating which has the ability to recover from daily wear and tear scratches and notches that un-cased Smartphones are likely to receive.
