Intex Mobiles launched the Aqua Pro, its latest smartphone in the Aqua series for Rs. 4,860. The device was announced in the month of May and now the company officially launches exclusively on Flipkart. The device will be facing a tough competition from Micromax Canvas Spark Q380 and Honor Bee which also includes similar specs and price tag of Rs. 4,999 and Rs. 4,499 respectively.
The Intex Aqua Pro comes with a 4.7-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display and has 4GB of internal memory of which only 2.14 will be user available. There is a microSD card slot for memory extension up to 32GB. It is powered by Spreadtrum SC7731G quad-core processor clicking at 1.2GHz and coupled with 512MB of RAM.
The handset includes a 8MP rear facing camera with LED flash and autofocus and a 2MP shooter on the front. It comes with several pre-installed apps, some of them are OLX, Newshunt, Myntra, and Clean Master.
On the back, there is a 1,800 mAh battery which is expected to deliver 6-7 hours of talk time and up to 180 hours of standby. It includes connectivity features like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB 2.0 and measures 135 x 69 x 9.6mm which weighs 132 grams.
Apart from launching in Blue Silver, Black Silver, Black colors, as of now the device is only available in Black Silver model. Recently Intex unveiled its first SailFish OS powered smartphone, the Aqua Fish in MWC 2015 Shanghai.
