Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z1 Compact are updated to latest Android version i.e., Android 4.4.4 Kitkat firmware, if you haven’t updated your device to Android 4.4.4 Kitkat then update them. 1. Download CWM / TWRP Recovery file to your PC.
2. Once downloaded extract it to a folder on Desktop on your PC.
3. Connect your device to PC, with USB Debugging turned ON.
4. Now locate the Install.bat (Windows) or Install.sh (Mac) and run it.
