A 3D mock-up allegedly reveals the design of HTC One 2 the next generation Smartphone to be launched by HTC. HTC One 2 is the code name given to it and it is the successor of HTC One. The source also suggested that this device will be the next generation of the flagship HTC One that could be revealed at Mobile World Congress 2014 (MWC) in Barcelona, mostly last week of February.
The device has a similar look like HTC One but has 5-inch display instead of 4.7-inch screen in its predecessor. The resolutions of the device has 1080 × 1920 pixels that means with Full HD display including 441 ppi which is slightly lesser than the HTC One with 468 ppi.
Most likely the device will be powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor. If the device will roll out with Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor then we can see video output at resolutions of 4K. So this will be the key feature of the HTC One 2 providing to the customers.
By noticing the resin mock up design we can expect two speakers on the front side of the HTC One 2 branded with its own BoomSound speakers. An elongated hole on the back near the camera lens portal suggests two possible outcomes. Either we will see a mic hole near the lens or it could be a double flash.
Like dual flash in iPhone 5s we can expect the same in HTC One 2. The back camera is expected to come with 4-megapixels while the front facing camera comes with 2.1-megapixels. Inside we will see the smallest version of this unit work with 16GB with a possible microSD card slot for expanding the memory, while the whole set to be released with Android 4.4 KitKat.
