This is the unofficial version of CM 12 and is not completely stable and can’t be used as the daily driver, though you can give it a try if you haven’t yet tasted the sweetness of Android 5.0 Lollipop till now.
In this tutorial, we will guide you on how to update Galaxy Note N7000 to Android 5.0 Lollipop firmware using unofficial CM 12 ROM. Before we guide you on how to update Galaxy Note N7000 to Android 5.0 Lollipop you must prepare your device for the update process and to do so follow the below listed pre-requisites.
Pre-Requisites:
- Backup all the data stored on your device to a safe location, as installing this ROM will erase all of your data and settings.
- Enable USB Debugging on your device from Developer Options.
- Charge your device too at least 80% before proceeding with the update process.
- Root and install Custom Recovery on Galaxy Note N7000.

How to update Galaxy Note N7000 to Android 5.0 Lollipop using CM 12 ROM:
Download the required files from the above links.
Copy all the packages to the root of your device’s SD card, make sure not to copy inside any folder. Power off Galaxy Note N7000.
Enter into Recovery Mode. To do so, press and hold Volume up + Home + Power buttons simultaneously until you see some text on screen.
Once you are in Recovery Mode, wipe all the data, cache and dalvik cache.
Now select “Install Zip from SD Card” and choose the ROM package and install it.
Again follow the above step and install Google Apps Package.
Now Go Back and select “reboot system now”, to reboot your device to normal mode.
After reboot you will be able to enjoy the taste of Android 5.0 Lollipop on Galaxy Note N7000.
