Google after updating its Nexus devices to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS, now started rolling OTA update to its Android One smartphones- the Micromax Canvas A1, Spice Dream UNO Mi-498 and Karbonn Sparkle. All these Android One Smartphones will be directly updated to Android 5.1 from Android 4.4. All these devices received KitKat 4.4 update back in March 2015.
In addition, Google announced new Android One smartphone dubbed as General Mobile 4G in Turkey last month. It was launched running Android 5.1.1 out of the box. It is minor update with few changelogs and bug fixes.
The Lollipop 5.1.1 update is via over-the-air and is about 11.1MB in size. The update is similar to all Android One devices as they share similar ROM.
