Oppo mobiles has released the final version of ColorOS V2.1.5i ROM for the Oppo Find 7 and Find 7a mobiles. Now after, the company will only concentrate on AOSP ROM rather than its own ColorOS. With AOSP ROM, the users can receive Android updates faster compared to ColorOS which was always slower in receiving the updates. The AOSP will bring the experience of stock Android and boost the performance on the Oppo smartphones to a great extent. The AOSP ROM for Oppo Find 7a and Find 7 is currently in a private beta testing expecting to be available in the next month with more stability.
The ColorOS 2.1.5i brings Stagefright fix, adds Smart Lock support, options to disable Google apps when editing the homescreen and several other features.
The Over-the-air (OTA) update for Oppo Find 7 and Find 7a will be rolling starting from today. The ColorOS 2.1.5i ROM is about 1.01GB in size and can be downloaded from Oppo forum in order to flash manually.
