CES 2015 : BLU announces BLU Life One 2nd Gen, Life One XL, Vivo Air, Studio Energy, Studio X, Studio Plus, Studio G Android KitKat phones

BLU Mobile at CES 2015 has launched couple of devices and they are dubbed as BLU Life One 2nd Generation, BLU Life One XL, BLU Vivo Air, BLU Studio Energy, BLU studio X, BLU Studio X Plus and BLU Studio G and any of them were not priced higher than $200. So they can be termed as budget friendly devices. These smartphones run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat and BLU promises that it will roll out Android 5.0 Lollipop to these devices. So let got with them one by one and check its specs, price and other features.

BLU Life One (2nd Generation):

BLU Life One 2nd Generation features a 5.0 inch HD display and is powered by 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB of on-board storage, with the expansion slot with 64GB microSD card support. BLU Life One 2nd Generation has 4G support and sports a 13MP rear shooter and 5MP front facing camera. It is available in Sandstone Gray, Ceramic White, Blue and Gold. It packs a 4,420 mAh battery and will go on sale at the end of March on Amazon with a price tag of $179.

BLU Life One XL:

BLU Life One XL features a 5.5 inch HD display and is powered by 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 processor mated with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. It has 4G LTE support and sports a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front facing camera. It packs a 2,820 mAh battery and will go on sale in March on Amazon with a price tag of $199. BLU Life One XL comes in Sandstone Gray, Ceramic White, Blue and Gold.

BLU Vivo Air:

BLU Vivo Air is the thinnest smartphone among the seven devices which BLU launched at CES 2015 and it is only 5.1mm thick and weighs about 100g. BLU Vivo Air features a 4.8 inch 720p display, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front facing camera and a 2100 mAh battery. It will go on sale in mid-January with a price tag of $199 and will be available in White Gold or Black Gun metal colors.

BLU Studio Energy:

BLU Studio Energy features a 5 inch HD display, a 8MP rear camera, 2MP front facing camera, 8GB internal storage with expansion slot, and a massive 5000 mAh battery. It will go on sale in mid-January with a price tag of $179 and will be available in Ceramic White, Sandstone Gray, Blue and Gold.

BLU Studio X:

BLU Studio X features a 5 inch HD display and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6582 processor mated with 1GB RAM. The device also sports 8MP rear camera, 2MP front facing camera and a 2100 mAh battery. BLU Studio X will go on sale in mid-January for $129 and will be available in Black, White, Blue, Pink and Gold.

BLU Studio X Plus:

BLU Studio X Plus features a 5.5 inch HD display and is powered by the same processor on BLU Studio X mated with 1GB RAM and it resembles all the specs of BLU Studio X and only difference is display and battery, which is 2600 mAh. BLU Studio X Plus will go on sale in the same month BLU Studio X will be available and will be priced $149. BLU Studio X Plus comes in Black, White, Blue, Pink and Gold colors.

BLU Studio G:

BLU Studio G is the cheapest of all the above devices and it features a 5 inch display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front facing camera, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage with expansion slot and a 2000 mAh battery. BLU Studio G will go on sale in January on Amazon at $89 off-contract.
