As part of the ASUS press event at the ongoing CES 2015 (Consumer Electronic Show), the company has revealed its latest Smartphone, the ZenFone Zoom. The Smartphone has 5.5-inch display which was launch along with another same phablet, the Asus ZenFone 2. Both the devices runs on Android Lollipop OS out of the box. The ZenFone 2 has 4GB RAM, thus becoming first Smartphone to coupled with such great RAM.
The main perk of ZenFone Zoom is 13-megapixels camera with 3x optical zoom lens, which also has optical image stabilization. Measuring an 11.95mm, it is however “the thinnest smartphone with a 3x optical zoom lens capability”. While considering the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom, it has 16.6mm of thickness.
The device comes equipped with the same True Tone LED flash and laser focus that we have seen in LG G3 flagship. The Asus ZenFone Zoom has been made for heavy for photography users, which adds features like white balance, exposure, ISO, shutter speed and focal point. It also comes with laser-bassed auto focus for precise and speedy measurements. It also packs with 5-megapixels of front facing camera for better selfie and other video calls via Skype.
Price and Availability:
The Asus ZenFone Zoom will launch somewhere in Q2 2015 and the expected price of the Smartphone is $399.
