Asus ZenFestival already began in India where it announced four new smartphones, which the company showcased earlier. One among the four is the Asus Zenfone Max (ZC550KL) with 5.5-inch HD display. The company has not yet reveal the price tag which might be done in the month of October.

The key feature of Asus Zenfone Max is its 5000mAh battery capacity. Though Asus has not said any details regarding the talktime and standby time of the handset, it is expected that this battery will easily last for an entire day on a single charge. Additionally the smartphone can be used as a power bank to charge other devices says the company at the time of announcement.
The handset flaunts a massive 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and runs on Android Lollipop with Zen UI 2.0 on top. On the point of processor, it has a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 coupled with Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
As far the storage is concern, it comes in two versions- 8GB/16GB which has a microSD card slot for expansion. A 13-megappixels shooter on the back comes with f/2.0 aperture, Real Tone flash, Laser Auto Focus features while the 5-megapixels front facing camera has f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-angle lens.
On the connectivity front, it includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and packs with massive 5000mAh non-removable battery on the back.
