Asus have introduced its new tablet called Asus VivoTab Note 8. the tablet is mainly targeted towards Professionals and artists with its Wacom Stylus. The device is priced around $299, which is similar to the prices of similarly sized tablets from other countries like Dell, Toshiba and Lenovo. This is the first tablet to come with a Wacom digitilizar and pen from this category.
Asus VivoTab Note 8 sports a 8 inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. It is powered by Intel Atom Bay Trail CPU couple with 2GB RAM and comes in 32GB and 64GB of storage, which is expandable up to 64GB using microSD card. The company claims that the stylus can work with 1000 pressure points, which makes this device compelling for artists, Professionals and students.
Asus VivoTab Note 8 features a 5 MP rear camera shooter and a HD front facing camera for video calling. The tablet runs on Windows 8.1 OS and supports connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB and Miracast. As the productivity is at its core, the full versions of Microsoft Office Home and Student edition are included. Asus has claimed to offer free unlimited Asus WebStorage access for one year.
