Google has started rolling out new update to Android One devices which brings Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. According to the reports, the Cherry Mobile G1 which is the Android One smartphone in Philippines has started receiving the update. It is a minor update brining some bug fixes and stability improvements.
According to the image shared by source, the update also includes Google’s December security patch. HTC ROM developer @LlabTooFeR stated that Android 6.0.1 is just a minor update, but Google is planning to roll out Android 6.1 most probably next year will be an important update.
As Android One devices gets Android 6.0.1 update, there is no wrong is saying that Nexus devices are the next to receive the same Marshmallow 6.0.1 update. Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X might be the first Google devices to get the upgrade followed by other Nexus devices.
