Mo Versi, Vice President of HTC Product Management has made official that Android 5.0 Lollipop update for AT&T HTC Desire Eye will start rolling from today. To make it clear, the update will start rolling from today, where it was still ‘tomorrow’ when Versi posted the tweet last night.

The Android 5.0 Lollipop update brings not much changes to the AT&T Desire Eye, this doesn’t means that users can’t get the feel of new material design. All the features of Android 5.0 like improved notification bar, device performance, quick settings, better lock screen, etc., are included within the update.
Collecting back the features, the HTC Desire Eye is a good quality phone with a 5.2-inch Full HD display, is powered with 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU. There is high quality of 13MP camera on the back well known for quality pictures and there is a front facing camera.
The Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update is via Over-the-air, so go to Settings > About Phone > Software Update to download the latest firmware.
