If you own a Gionee M2 Smartphone, then your device can be updated in the next month. Gionee mobiles have just announced Android 4.4 KitKat update to Gionee M2 Smartphone. The update will start rolling from 5th September across all over India. The device was launched back in February running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.
Recently company released Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Pioneer P4 mobile in India. It also rolled out KitKat update for the Elife E7 mini and Elife S5.5 smartphones in India just few months back. There are no details regarding the KitKat update for Elife E7 that went on sale earlier this year. Hope this is the nest device to get updated top latest version.
Coming to changelogs after KitKat update, it is expected to feature wireless printing, support for emojis, new homescreen layout, updated Amigo Paper, updated UC browser, updated Kingsoft Office and more.
