Alcatel on Wednesday has launched its first Firefox based OS Smartphone in India, the Alcatel OneTouch Fire C. The device is priced at Rs. 1,990 and has become the third Firefox OS Smartphone launch in India. Before this, Intex Cloud FX and Spice Fire One Mi-FX 1 Smartphone were launched. The Intex Cloud FX has attracted customer to purchase and experience the new OS and now Alcatel came forward with its first cheap Firefox OS device. Coming to the display of the Alcatel OneTouch Fire C, its has 3.5-inch HVGA display with 320 x 480 pixels resolutions and comes with dual SIM support. The device runs on Firefox OS 1.3 and is powered with 1 GHz Spreadtrum 6821 Processor. It has 128 MB RAM, 256 MB internal storage of which 65 MB is user memory and secondary storage can be expandable up to 32GB with microSD card.
The OneTouch Fire C has 1.3 MP rear camera and includes connectivity features like 2G (EDGE), Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It also comes with 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio and packs with 1000 mAh battery support.
