Sony mobiles, just announced Xperia Z2 Tablet after announcing Xperia Z2 Smartphone at MWC 2014 (Mobile World Congress) event, held at Barcelona in Spain. The Xperia Z2 Tablet is rated IP55/IP58 for dust and water resistance and has Sony’s front surround audio technology. It comes in both 3G, Wi-Fi variants with Black or White colours.

Xperia Z2 Tablet features a 10.1-Inch full HD WUXGA Tri-luminous display with Mobile BRAVAI Engine 2 and 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution. It is powered by 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU coupled with 3GB RAM. The Xperia Z2 Tablet runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and has 16GB onboard storage, which is further expandable with microSD card.

Xperia Z2 Tablet sports 8.1MP rear camera with EXmos RS sensor and a 2.2 MP front- facing camera for video calling. In terms of connectivity the Xperia Z2 Tablet supports LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, MHL 3.0, GPS / GLONASS and NFC. The tablet packs a massive 6000 mAh battery and has 266 x 172 x 6.4 mm as chassis dimensions. The Wi-Fi variant weighs around 426 grams and the 3G variant weighs around 439 grams.
