Xolo Q1010i is the latest android phone launched by the Xolo running on Android version 4.2 Jelly Bean OS has been updated to Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The update is available OTA (over the air) and as a manual download from the official XOLO support site. The size of the update is around 300 MB, so it’s better to download the file with a good internet connection (WiFi) while updating over the air.
The Xolo Q1010i includes the changelogs like the performance improvements, enhanced user interference, color emoji, a new camera UI, immersive mode, updated Hangouts that supports SMS/MMS, cloud printing support and many more.
It was previous month that Xolo planned to release the KitKat update to Smartphone’s– Q700S, Q1010i, Q1010 and Q3000 by June. It is yet to roll KitKat update to these mobile phones. Xolo Q1000 Opus is another android phone which got the KitKat update and became one of the first domestic handset makers to announce Android KitKat update for its Smartphone.
The Xolo Q1010i Android Smartphone launched in the country with the price tag of INR 13,499 in April. The device sports a 5 inch HD IPS display based on One Glass Solution and powered with 1.3 GHz Quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with Mali 400 MP2 GPU. The Smartphone has 1 GB of RAM and 8 MP of primary camera with LED Flash and also includes 2MP front facing camera for video calling facility. It includes regular set of connectivity features and packed with 2,250 mAh battery support.
