Sony Xperia M2 will get update to improve the camera and fix the GPS issues

Are you an Xperia M2 smartphone user? If yes, then you might be facing camera and GPS issues on your handset soon after updating to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop firmware. Many users have reported the issues and were looking for various tutorial to fix the issues. A number of long discussions have seen on the Sony Mobile Talk website and XDA forum. Though the Android 5.1.1 update provides the taste of material design, many users were disappointed with the camera and GPS issues soon after software update. Sony has rolled out Android 5.1.1 update directly from Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS.

The stock camera continues to deliver poor images after the update. Even installation of third-party apps like Google Camera doesn’t able to snap quality pictures. The reason behind the issue might be Sony changing the algorithm or settings within the camera 1.0 API.

Sony Mobiles has investigated the issue and stated that it will soon roll out update to fix camera and GPS issues to the Xperia M2 smartphone. The news was made official by one of its support staff on the official forum. Sony has not specified the exact timeframe for the update, but the Xperia M2 users has something to cheer about as their major camera and GPS issues will be soon resolved.
