Samsung going to launch the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 Android smartphone in India on July 16th. It started to send out press invites for the official launch of the above smartphone in India. Stay tuned for pricing and availability of the handsets.

Samsung has officially announced its latest smartphone in the J series dubbed as Galaxy J7 and Galaxy J5. The handset has been unveiled in an event being held at China. So Chinese people will be the first to own these latest smartphone from Samsung which will be available to purchase starting from this week.
Coming to the specs, the Galaxy J7 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor and features a 5.5-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixels screen resolution. On the other hand, the Galaxy J5 has 5-inch HD display and is powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 410 processor.
Both the devices share some identical features like 1.5GB RAM, 16GB ROM with microSD card slot for memory expansion, 13MP rear facing camera and 5MP front facing camera with LED Flash. These are the first South Korean devices to features a LED Flash on the front. With this features, the users can take selfies even in dark places.
Samsung Galaxy J7 and Galaxy J5 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and also includes LTE and dual SIM capabilities. The J7 and J5 measure 152.2 x 79.1 x 7.9mm and 142 x 73 x 8.5mm and packs with a 3000 mAh and 2600 mAh battery respectively.
As far the price is concern, the Galaxy J7 has price tag of 1,798 CNY ($290) and the Galaxy J5 will be available starting from 1,398 CNY ($225). Both the devices comes in black, gold and white colour options. There are no official announcement for the global release of the smartphones.
