Motorola Moto Maxx is official, comes to Brazil and Mexico first

Motorola just announced the Moto Maxx, the global variant of DROID Turbo sans Verizon branding. The specifications of the Smartphone is similar to the DROID Turbo Smartphone. It has been officially revealed at an event in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The device would be competing to other big Flagships which launched recently- the Galaxy Note 4 and the Nexus 6.

The Motorola Moto Maxx Android Smartphone sports a 5.2-inch AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and has 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution including 565 ppi pixel density. The device is powered with 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 (APQ8084) processor coupled with 600 MHz Adreno 420 GPU and 3GB RAMM similar to Nexus 6 Smartphone.

The Moto Maxx runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS out of the box, but takes no time to get Android 5.0 Lollipop firmware update when compared to other devices. It has Water Resistant capability and packs with 64GB of internal storage.

There is 21 MP rear shooter on the back including features like dual LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording and is accompanied with 2 MP front facing camera. The Smartphone is 8.3-11.2 mm thick (curve) and weighs 176 grams.

On the connectivity front, the Motorola Moto Maxx includes features like 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11a/g/b/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, GLONASS and NFC. There is 3900 mAh battery on the back to power the Smartphone.

The Motorola Moto Maxx Android Smartphone comes in Black Ballistic Nylon version and is priced at US$ 875 (Rs. 53675 approx). The device would be available starting from Saturday, November 8th in Brazil and then in Mexico somewhere in mid-November. The Smartphone would also sooner goes on sale in Latin American Countries, but no details available to launching in Asian countries.
