LG has announced that it will be rolling out the Android Kitkat 4.4 update to its Korean variants of G2 by the end of this month. So if you have LG G2 and want to taste the latest Android Kitkat version then your wait is over. As this month has less than two weeks you will hear the news about LG rolling its Kitkat update soon.


LG is launching this update to its domestic market only and the other country in line for this update will be France. As the French carrier SFR said that LG G2 will be updated to Kitkat on SFR by December. However there is no confirmation yet and might be rumour. We are likely to see so many devices getting Android 4.4 Kitkat update in the Year of 2014.

This update might contain some enhanced features like new Hangout message application, smart caller id, enhanced memory, power management, improved voice search, wireless printing and many other new features.In US the updates to the devices are involved by the carriers so the updates have to pass through them before rolling to the devices.

Coming to LG G2 specs, it has 5.2 inch Full HD IPS LCD capacitive display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It is powered by 2.26 GHz quad core krait 400 processor with Adreno 330 GPU and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS and will be upgradable to Android 4.4 by end of this month. It has 2GB RAM and 16GB / 32GB internal memory with no Sdcard slot.

It is packed with 13 MP rear Camera with auto focus, LED flash and has a secondary 2.1 MP front facing Camera. It is powered by 3000 mAh Lithium Polymer Non-removable battery.
